Crookid crook-id or crook kid : Comes from the streets or suburbia, rarely found without swag, he or she rocks skinny jeans to nike cortez, on a goodnight you may find them pushing, pedaling or shredding the city terrain, the crookid has attitude, better yet swagitude, many would label them a mislead youth simply by first glance, often stereotyped, rarely left un watched in shopping malls, calm to tha core but not one to be pushed around. Sharks have a week named after them, well not really. One thing for certain the crookid is on the rise and is sure to be found in a city near you.
Crookid9 is  a Streetwear Brand Based in Utica NY.
Formed originally in Los Angeles CA., Crookid9 was developed in the heart of LA’s streetwear scene taking cues from some of the heavy hitters in the industry, Crookid9 began to mold itself in to the brand it came to be.
Not long after its birth Crookid9 was met with the choice to locate East of the country due to personal reasons unrelated to the brand itself, C9 was Upstate bound. Upon arrival to its destination Owner of Crookid9 Erick Florez Quickly began looking for opportunities to keep Crookid9 a float and on the steady climb it had already been navigating.
The Final Destination was Utica NY. A City located Central to the State. The city’s history and humble presence was enough for Erick to quickly decide that this was the place Crookid9 would call home. Left abandoned by some bigger corporations years ago, the beautiful town was left with a number of scars, yet there was something in the air that breathed new life into Crookid9. A feeling of local comraudery, as well pride in community, with that Crookid9 saw opportunity for regrowth. and a firm base to grow its roots.
The Teams
We are not a skate brand, nor are we a snowboard brand, we are a streetwear brand, however the brand finds influence in the different cultures in which we were exposed to through life, it is those cultures that combine to make the brand what it is. With that being the case we cater toward our roots, providing as much aid and oppurtunitys for those cultures to keep growing.
Crookid9 currently houses three teams skate, bmx, and snow. Our teams are each headed by a team manager/rider, major plans for expansion in this area, with travel and competition attendance being a big focus.
The Product
Crookid9 prides it self on its home grown, hand made approach toward its products, every piece of apparel was touched by the designer himself at our in house facility in Utica NY. This affords us the opportunity to keep our quality to our liking while givining each piece its own individuality, our process is environmentally friendly we use only the best eco friendly products, our shirts are screen printed with water based ink giving us a retail quality product while keeping the earth happy.
