Here’s the low down:
Our boy Nick, Team Rider and Terrain Manager at Toggenburg put together this dope contest.
The Toggenburg Super Sessions (TOSS) is based on the long-running event, The Jon Olsson Invitational. Professional Swedish skier, Jon Olsson, invites the best riders in the world to his home mountain to ride, film, and create video edits of the event. The athletes receive full rock star treatment and session some of the world’s nicest features. We may not put you up in the Hilton for a week, and you may not be hitting 120 foot jumps, but we will have the park in prime condition for your riding and filming pleasure. Teams will have 2 weeks to film at Toggenburg and create a video edit of their weeks. The event will culminate at the TOSS Awards on February 25th at 7:00PM where all the entries will be shown on the big screen in the mezzanine of the main lodge. One team will go home with the grand prize purse at the end of the night and awards will be handed out for sub-categories such as best filming, best editing, best theme, etc.
The Time Has Come!
The contestants should have their entries finalized and ready for screening this week at Toggenburg.

Saturday night we stopped by the Hamilton Center for the Arts in Hamilton, NY. for the opening of Studio Spin Gallery Tour, held by our boy Marc Tucci. Shout out to Marc for a great exhibition, and hooking us up with some space, next week we will have some tees in the gallery available for purchase. Looks like Santa stopped by Mamba before he headed back to the North Pole. I wish you all a Happy Holiday season. Oh and it feels like summer here in Central New York, so go skate or something.
We had one great weekend this past Saturday and Sunday, thanks to the Indie Garage Sale and the fine people of Central New York who came out to shop local for those needed Christmas gifts or that special something for them selves. This was our first year setting up at IGS and a very successful show it was. Caitlyn of Silent K Designs and I decided for our first time attending, we would go in together on a booth. Prior to the show we had also planned on releasing our much anticipated collaboration shirt, part 1 of the Crookid9 artist series. I finalized the design Monday, burned the screen then printed on Thursday prior to the show, Friday night we put finishing touches in and Saturday morning it was off to IGS for what was to become one of our most successful shows yet. SOLD OUT, yes we sold out of the Silent K Colab Tees, not to mention the purchases of some of the winter collection stuff, all in all a very fun and successful weekend. Like always one of the best things we walked away with after the show, was new friends, great networking and more exposure. If you missed out or if you came to get one of the tees and we didn’t have your size, dont worry we will be printing another run in the week to come, those of you who contacted me about an order, you are first in line. Once again thank you all for the support, and IGS for putting on one great show.
We are proud to release the 1st edition of the Artist Series, created by Silent K Design. This Tim Burton esque illustrator is inspired by the likes of Disney Pixar, Fantasy, and a world she often day dreams of. Concentrating in mainly Print Media and Illustrated works, her style is energetic, whimsical and contemporary. Silent K is surely one to watch, we can assure you will see more collaborative projects with this artist in the future.
