Crookid Fences 2011

On December 5, 2010, in Brand Talk, Colabs, Streetwear News, by EMoney

Designers Mike Beck and Erick Florez owners of Forget Fences and Crookid9 team up in Crookid Fences an ongoing Collab that meshes the two brands into a wacky deranged splendor. Bringing Mikes background from baseball and fast paced adrenaline filled life style to Erick’s chillaxed So Cal street influenced polar opposite the one thing the two share in common is their love for t-shirt design and a somewhat deranged and slightly vulgar personality when the lights go down and majority of the world is asleep, infact that is just when the two’s alter ego as Crookid Fences is unleashed.

All in all Together the Brain Child Crookid Fences forms a brilliant concept in today’s streetwear.

An inside look, at Crookid Fences Prep for the Bernie Williams Event. Tuesday of last week I got word that fellow designer Mike Beck was planning on attending the Notre Dame, Bernie Williams Autograph Signing and Forget Fences (Becks Brand) had reserved booth space for the event, he notified me of the opportunity to unveil our brain child collab Crookid Fences  at the event. 4 days later and a night of design and screen printing we ran with it. Mind you we Printed 3 designs of no less than 20 pieces each that’s from computer, screen prep, to cure and fold, this was all done in 16 hours one full day of work with a few hours of sleep, if that don’t warn you to keep a look out for us I don’t know what would.  Look for more on Crookid Fences in future posts. For now check out some shots from prep to finish.

A Few days ago The KDCF (Kids Delebriratley Creating Fun) a local Internet Mag/Awesomenes Hub asked that Dom and I explain a little about the brand, our take on the Skate, BMX, and Snowboard scene in Utica, how Crookid9 plans to contribute, Whats in store for the future and a ton more.

Be on the look out for the interview, Here is a little behind the scenes.
